Good Bye 2013

This time of year always makes me reflect what occurred the past year.  Not only is a new calendar year but also a new year in my life and I will soon be halfway to 40.  2013 was a year of a lot of changes, opportunities, and realizations.  I left a job I had been at for over 8 years, finished my Masters degree and started a new job that presented itself by chance but at the right time. 

All these transitions just reinforced that I am extremely lucky to have the amazing people in my life that I do.  This year I've meet some incredible people, acquaintances have become friends, reconnected with old, cherished friends, and deepened my friendships and relationships with my family.  I have been supported, encouraged, consoled, entertained, and loved.  I hope all these people know how grateful I am to have them in my life.  

I'm ready to leave 2013 but know this was the year that propelled me into a place of new beginnings. I am very excited for 2014.  I am starting it in a good place and know with all that I learned this year, 2014 will be incredible.
